Radiation-induced fatigue

I can only share my anecdotal experience with SBRT. I don't think I remember any particular fatigue per se. I did feel a bit more easily tired in the few weeks post-treatment, but it never caused me to alter my schedule. I still worked full days and went to the gym after work every day. The fatigue I may have felt was probably more due to my slightly darkened mood than anything directly resulting from radiation.

I just may have used it as an excuse to rest a bit more, dodge chores, etc. ;-)

You are right that language is on the left. But analytic capabilities are primarily left brain and creative capabilities are primarily right-brain.During National Novel Writing Month, the goal is to shut off analysis and let the creative side run things like a spoiled brat. Of course, the result is inevitably pure garbage. Writing a readable novel takes both capabilities. Still, among the 50,000 words, there may be a few worth saving and developing. It's a good exercise anyway.

You are heroic to brave the 405 twice a day for 4 weeks.

I did not experience any fatigue with SBRT as a mono-therapy. My drive for treatment was 2 and a half hours each way. I usually went to the gym each evening to ride a stationary bike and do some light exercise. I did experience a little pressure from the bicycle seat creating an urge to pee when I knew my bladder was empty. Lasted a week or two.

Hi Allen, don't feel bad my friend. I often let both sides rest at once! BTW your diagnosis about my DNA causing the problems with radiation was spot on the best I could find out with the test I could afford! You are both a gentleman and a scholar, Thanks, Phil
