Five plus weeks incontinence and now blood in urine

So it’s been five weeks post surgery and still no more continent than day 1. Working with Kegals and walking. Been walking 2 miles per day and noticing in last 3 days small amount of blood in diaper. Any one else have this issue? What am I doing wrong? Getting at my wits end.

Yeah...going to have to go with IntheShop on this one... My continence was pretty good after about a month. One shield a day and only getting up once a night. But...I had two occasions with blood in the urine or pad. I freaked a little but knew it was on the normal side of normal. I asked the Uro about it and he said I might see drops out to 8-12 weeks! However, he did say only small (drops) amounts or he should be called. I think my first bout was when the stitches passed and the second was maybe two drops at six weeks... The thing is, a drop of blood against a white pad looks like someone spilled a can of red paint in your lap! Same goes for the toilet...a few drops looks like the Red Sea!

I was told to judge continence at a year! Seems like a long time, however, as everyone will tell you, it takes a long time to heal. Everyday is better than the day before...you’ll see. Hang in there!
