Hi Prato, I'm certainly not a troll, I'd have to be utter scum to do that on a cancer forum board.
I think because I've hardly ever fallen ill let alone suffer from a condition, the moment I have physical symptoms I panic. I do need some therapy with my hypochondria tendencies as I do often think the worst whenever I get physical symptoms. I remember I was convinced that I had bowel cancer when I was 18. I just had piles.
Certainly, as I age though I realise that things won't always be like they were when I was younger.
In this particular case, what hasn't helped and increased my fear was when my doctor examined my prostate and although not concerned just remarked that it was slightly on the larger side. This then set me off in a panic hence coming on here. Then I hear that those who get PC under 40 are very rare but I also hear that it tends to be very aggressive and by the time you get symptoms, it can be stage 3 or 4.
