Post SBRT testosterone 1st test

Just got the numbers on the testosterone. TX was completed 10 weeks ago.

Pre SBRT 331 last thursday 282 the free testosterone was 5.5 don't really know what that means.

Just thought I would throw this out there.

TA: I stopped the Pygeum until after next weeks PSA to see what diff it makes.

You testosterone looks similar to what you had prior to SBRT. Not sure why it even got measured since it looks like you didn't have hormone therapy (ADT). The drop in PSA looks good, if not excellent, to me.

Well Sr. Tested the Test just to have a baseline prior so to do followup as it does drop off after SBRT. So actually the Testosterone looks pretty good.

Larry, the snow has slowed and we are beginning to warm up. 46 y'day and 52 by early next week but we do freeze every night. Total snow here at my place ( I measure ) for the season is 94.4 inches.
How are you doing now that you are a few weeks post TX?

Skip: I have not been having any issues that could be related to T level. Everything is fine. Desire and performance are all the same as before TX. Hell I just turned 70 so it is different than when I was 30 but that said I am a happy camper. No drugs to help urination issues, no drugs to help erection or ejac issues, PSA of 1.82 all in all I am doing well. I just wish there was more, than moral support, that I could do for others less fortunate than myself.

Well Larry I certainly hope it just keeps getting better for you.

I believe you were in on the thread I ran that mentioned I stopped Flowmax and the Pheno......radine and was just taking PYGEUM ( OTC herb ). TA weighed in saying that Pygeum would "artificially" lower PSA. Well what it does is shrink the prostate so if it is lowering PSA then it is because of the shrinkage and I really don't call that "artificial". It does muddy the water when tracking PSA with and without the Pygeum.
So.....as I am running two PSA testing labs at the same time I am doing a little study of my own on the effects of Pygeum on PSA. I will say this that based on my urinary function with Pygeum and then without, it was making a noticeable difference/improvement. It improved flow, increased volume thus reducing number of trips to the john and helped with mild discomfort.

You are in my thoughts daily up there in the far northland, although I am as far north as you are.
