Prostate artery embolization

Prostate artery embolization (PAE) can help controlling the symptoms that patients may encounter such as urinary obstruction or retention and bleeding ( hematuria). PAE does not however cure cancer, but can provide a very good relief of the symptoms.

PEA dramatically shrinks the prostate. A radiologist told me that they are seeing 85 percent reductions in size.

But, AFAIK, the clinical trials did not include men with PCa, so there is no guidance as to whether PAE is appropriate for men with PCa.
