Hello Folks,

Well its been awhile since I've been on here. Its been a year since I completed my 9 weeks of radiation treatment and my PSA test cameback last week at 0.8 so I'm happy with that. What is not so good is that my testosterone level is 89 and that is very low. I have gained weight eventhough I watch what I eat and have NO energy. I ask my doctor about doing something to boost my testosterone levels and he said NO doctor would prescribe anything to boost it to someone who has/had prostate cancer. OK, what about supplements like Nugenix or other so called natural testosterone boosters? Any thoughts out here about this
would be greatly appreciated. I just know I have to do something.

It is very common for T levels to drop after radiation. Fortunately, it is temporary. It took mine about a year to come back to normal. While supplements are probably not harmful, they may interfere with your PSA readings in unpredictable ways.

Hmmm. Mine did.

He made me wait a while. Six years after RP, which is 5 1/2 after I finished adjuvant radiation and 3 years after I finished my 24 months of Hormones. I was undetectable since the radiation.

I'm not saying that your doctor will hook you up, or that he should, just that his statement that "no doctor would" is inaccurate.
