For you recently diagnosed G9 guys, this is meant to spread some hope. Today is the five year anniversary of Denny’s prostatectomy. There have been a few times we didn’t think we’d have this much time. Surgery, radiation, HT, hernia repair, a successful AUS and now back on Lupron after a year’s vacation. It took a long time to learn to see this cancer as a chronic disease. Sure, life has changed; but it’s still good. We’re heading home after a three week RV trip to Colorado. He’s out fishing right now and does pretty much what he wants. We’re so thankful to have found this community where we’ve learned so much and found hope when we needed it most. Thanks for that!
