Went to my urologist and got the news of a fourth year of <0.1. The day of waiting is always a tough one. I count myself as one of the lucky ones, while my PSA had been rising for several years, the year it made the big jump was when we did the prostate biopsy. I elected for surgery because of the prostate cancer in my family (Dad, both grandfathers, three uncles). I did consider all options and would always encourage anyone to do the same thing. Research and find out what is best for you. So now, four years out, I am retired (do consulting on the side), do many things with my five grandchildren, run 3-5 miles a day, and just enjoy life with my wife and family.
