Trip planned after Lupron shot

you'll be fine. I never had any injection site issues but the gal that gave my shots was very careful, rolling the syringe in her hands to warm and loosen the Lupron and then injecting it slowly. no more discomfort than a flu shot.

I agree with F8. You should be fine. The first Lupron shot takes 2-4 weeks to even begin to start any hormone-suppression symptoms. The injection site discomfort varies, the worst I had felt like a bruise for about 24 hours the day after the shot. As long as you're not planning to run a marathon or anything like that you should have no issues.

And my daughter is an ER doctor in the Portland area. If your leg falls off let me know and I'll see if she can't hook you up with a surgeon to sew it back on.

I didn't have any pain or discomfort at the injection site and like Redwing said the effects shouldn't be noticeable for a couple of weeks or so.

Take your time and relax the muscles (stand on the other side leg if getting it in the arse). I've never hurt enough that I couldn't do my tasks of the day.
