It was obvious by your posts how lucky your father was to have you as a daughter

I'm happy that a small suggestion may have given you the support and friendships you needed during the battle your dad fought. Be sure to take care of mom. Don't question what you did to help him. You were the loving heart and hand he needed. Now don't forget what others have told you. Give some time to yourself now. You also fought this battle. Make sure you keep stopping in here to at least say hi.

And to your dad....rest in the arms of God brother...

We as patients know the struggle we go through and the battle Pc can bring. For some reason being a patient is for me easier than being a care giver. I read posts from family members that just really tug at my heart. I've been a care giver for my wife and there is a double amount of powerlessness that goes with being there for someone that is battling a life threatening disease.

Kathy , you shared with us your dad's struggle and your story. It is a powerful thing to witness the love and the caring that you brought to your dad. You are a great daughter....that is very evident.

Dad’s funeral is tomorrow, 10am, UK time. This past week has been a bit of a blur. My Mum and aunt have done a wonderful job of organising everything. My brother and I have assisted where we can.

Hope you are all getting on OK.

Tomorrow , at 10am UK time, I will be thinking of your father. I did not know him except in all of your posts, but I do know that he has a loving family and especially a loving daughter. Like Cyclone stated he has found his peace, and rest assured that you did all you could and took exceptional care of him in his final hours, you were a great blessing, so you rest easy too. Take care good Lady, Keep the Faith that his resting place is more than we all could ever dream of, in everlasting love, in the arms of angels ,and in the strong hands of the Lord!!
