Report 14 months post RALP

Long time since I have checked in - no news is good news as they say. As of July 5 PSA still undetectable. Surgery was 05/01/17. Some details in my sig. Minor complaints: pain upon orgasm. Permanently smaller penis / erection - but not a huge difference (pardon pun). Stress squirts aren't too common. Don't wear pads. I miss being able to ejaculate.

Happy I can pee like a champ and don't have to get up more than 1 time a night - if that. And of course thankful that my outcome has so far been close to optimal.

I think in hindsight I still would go the surgery route - my tumor took up so much of my prostate and I had prostatitis as well. Not sure what would have been left that worked properly after radiation or hormones. Guess there can be tradeoffs both ways.

BTW just a quick revisit - the first symptom that started me down this road was - blood in semen. This for anyone searching this forum for the first time. Get checked out.
