Reoccurrence

Well, after 5 years of being cancer free, this stupid beast has reared it's ugly head. Danny had a biopsy of a poloyp/lesion whatever you want to call it. It was in what is left of the urethra. Pathology says it is prostate cancer...4+4=8. Heading back to MD Anderson to see Dr. Tu on Thursday.

That's not what you wanted. MD Anderson is a good place to go.

They should be able to do something to help.

Still at MD Anderson, trying to figure out what to do. Referred to radiation oncology, who are waiting on surgery notes and slides from local urologist. The MRI and CT were inconclusive about where exactly the tumor was. Concern is his bowels being bothered by radiation. Have appt with gastro next week to address his ongoing...for almost a year...non stop diarrhea and bloating. Danny tested negative in last two C Diff tests, so not sure. Still hurrying and waiting.
