ADT Update

My wife and I met with our RO today to discuss my completion of the SRT and our path forward. We had a good discussion about the benefits of one more 3 month Lupron shot. She believes there is quite a bit of data supporting 6 months of ADT and SRT with pathology like mine. She also heard quite a bit of discussion on the same topic at the recent conference she attended.
Since I have had little side effects from the Lupron, we decided together to go ahead with the shot. The shot was pretty painless and I only have a slight ache in my butt cheek tonight.
We are still trying to stay active walking etc., but our Upstate NY weather lately has not been very supportive! My wife and I are both looking forward to getting back on our bicycles in January at our new winter home in Florida.

No more visits and no more tests until early May when we get back home.

Captain, I think it’s a good decision.. I too, am finishing up SRT, next week. I have one more 3 month Lupron shot left, I thought. about skipping it. But the side effects are manageable so I decided to go the full 6 months, then like you, I will see the RO, for follow up end April . In the meantime I head to my Florida home right after Thanksgiving. So we are on parallel paths. May we both be done with this .’
