Today I had an oncology appointment and my doctor and I discuss going off treatment. Bear in mind that our entire conversation hinges on what today’s PSA comes back at. If my PSA is rising than going off treatment is not an option. I have been on Zytiga for 63 months and my PSA has been undetectable that entire time. Today I did not get my prescription renewed. Today I did not receive a Lupron shot. I would appreciate prayers and positive thoughts. This will be my first treatment holiday in seven years

I think you meant, “Barren mind,” the best condition in which to take the PSAT. Don’t worry, even if it’s not the score you want, you still have time to prep for the SAT and a good chance of getting into a top college or university.

Actually to be quite honest I would not qualify for any university as Siri was typing as I dictated to her.She is the one who will score high on the SAT and go to a university not me

I'm very excited and I know you will be also to hear back that it will continue to be undetectable. Not maybe, but for sure, I already claimed that ahead of time for you ! That 463 months was a very long haul!...(your Siri wrote 463 instead of for 63 months!! ) I know that 63 months is certainly a.... long, long time (Elton-Rocket Man).... and Hey..."What a long, strange trip it's been"-by the Grateful Dead, do you sing that one?

Going off of Lupron is big also, my Onc already got me off of it last year, feeling a lot less hot flashes now, still hormonal though! Going off of Zytiga, and staying undetectable..well you are da man, the Miracle man, my Main man, as Rainman would have said,so I know that is possible for you....In HIM, all things are possible!

Take care and I will be lurking here , looking for that outcome, and a nice long post on your Blog site!

Wowza! That sounds scary but nothing compared to your initial diagnosis. Thinking nothing but positive thoughts & prayers for you. I said in another post you were my hero & I wanted to be like you when I grow up. I am at year 1 of zytiga so I have awhile to go. Thanks for always blazing a trail.

Today is day 2 of my holiday. Yesterday was rough. I felt queazy most of the day. I am still taking the prednisone and will begin the weening process in a couple weeks. I hope today is better.

I'm sure it will be better, just take off work and lie down somewhere and hum a few slow songs....and stay away from chile...and hot wings.
So, I might be a llittle confused,as normal, but did you just get a new PSA blood draw with a new PSA result (still undetectable) ..or when will you be gettting that?
