Just got back from my URO appointment.
I got my Second Eligard 6 month shot..
And we went over my Lab work, Seams some staff don't know how to read Numbers, My PSA is not .04 as I reported to you guy's earlier....It is .4
They ordered a Bone scan for 6 months....And another PSA..

Great! That's where you should be on PSA.

sad that numbers are difficult for medical staff members.

You’ve got some waiting until you’re done with ADT to know if the RT worked. I’m not sure why he scheduled a bone scan. Even if the RT didn’t work ( let’s hope it did), in six months any mets would likely still be suppressed by the Eligard.

Highly doubtful that mets would show with a PSA of .4. And separately highly unlikely when on AST.

however, after months on HT a density scan makes sense if there's a risk of a lack of it.

I don’t think there’s any practical difference. I think it might be more surprising if your PSA was 0.04. Even though you’ve had RT, your prostate is still producing PSA, so the 0.4 seems very normal to me.

You don’t seem to have anything to be worried about.
