In the attic of grief lay reminders of life...so as to haunt...not soothe...make it not...brevity of life...begone your wants and self taunts...the mansion is large with ivy clinging to life over cold stone....reminiscent of campuses of old....with streets of ice instead of gold...the footing is sure ...eyes straight and pure...your path is here...do you see it...do you see it... right there...right there...close the lids...ahh...life...life is fair

Logo,
I definitely likes this on. I need to study it further, but at first read..captivating, curious, image filled, haunting yet inviting. This is nice, makes a person think..as do most all of your more serious posts. This hits home as I just had to attend a 'funeral for a friend'..(not Elton)..on Tuesday. Glad to hear from ya. Wings aka Dan aka 'bats in the belfry,' in rainy So Cal.

Your poetry is moving, sometimes these enigmatic phrases have a power of their own....

" enigmatic phrases have a power of their own " you got that right mspt….but they ain't mine...words create themselves and I honestly have no idea how it works...nor do I need to know...Im glad you like it...Im sure you and others actually see stuff there...that I never saw...obviously what prompts the words.flow from my experience and uniqueness ...and what you see comes from yours...same same for any placement of words read or produced by anyone...read Ralph Waldo Emersons essay on poetry some time...you will see you are a poet yourself as we all are...poetry moves in an infinity of venues...I believe poetry and art are interchangeable...but we as humans need distinctions and boundries of terms...ironically so as to understand...yet by doing so...proving we do not.
I guess I do have some ideas on how it works
I share this as evidence of knowledge...with a taste of evidence of fame...I mean...I am(at this point in time) "looking thru a glass darkly" like the rest of us... I so much want to thank the administratror and moderators for allowing myself and others to express themselves this way...the nexus is clear...

I also like "darkly through a broken spyglass" here, agree with you on the rest.
Positive material put forward with beneficial intent can put a positive spin on a negative condition.

Was the title of a Pogo book a long time ago.
The rubicon is a hypercube, one of my favorite things...good for containing infinity stones I hear.
