Sr Sailor. How was my colon cancer discovered?? Although my Primary Doc indicated that at my age 82, a colonoscopy should not be necessary but because I insisted on the colonoscopy, the Gastrointestinal Doc found the mass in my descending colon. So, us older folks still have to be on the lookout for these dang “monsters”.
Glad to hear you were vigilant.
BT guru Dr Peter Grimm cautions men with BT be "vigilant" with lower genitourinary and colorectal secondary cancers for the rest of their lives, especially when there are predisposed genetic or environmental factors which you probably discussed early on with Dr Moran.
