At the time, the musician had just been successfully treated for prostate cancer. He had returned from a tour of South Africa, where, it transpired, he had contracted a dangerous infection.

I saw that story on Apple News. I thought I had read somewhere a while ago that he was diagnosed, didn’t recall the near death infection story though.
As we all know, nobody is immune. One in six men.🥺
