In the current thread (or at least it used to be a current thread) "Time," our forum colleague InTheShop complains that the thread, which he started, has been "... hijacked, stolen, commandeered."
Then the situation doesn't seem to get any better, until Moderator Pratoman finally locks the thread, but only "... at the request of the original poster."
So, if it was done at Andrew's request, I assume he was not happy with the way the posts were going, and wanted to call it quits on the thread. After all, it was his thread.
If that's the case, then, speaking now as likely one of the culprits responsible for this locking business, due to my, and others', wandering posts, let me say that I do apologize to Andrew if my thread-irrelevant chattiness lead up to this harsh business of thread-locking.
I suppose it was sort of like visiting with a friend, imbibing a sip or two of brew that he has kindly offered, then becoming a bit too high as well as a bit too chatty, and then saying something that offends the host. Not intentional, but nonetheless awkward at least.
So if that's the case, Andrew, and you did take offense, then I do apologize if some posting I did helped lead to the locking.
If you would like to request that the thread be reopened (it really was a good thread going), please do so, and I'll bet we can keep it on track this time.
