New PSA Readings

Well, after my RALP in July of '18 and being on Casodex for about a year, my PSA is holding at <0.06
My oncologist can't figure out why it isn't going down to <0.01 but is happy that it has been this low for 6 months.
Just have been on Casodex (no other ADT or radiation) but have gone from 1 month checkups to him offering me 3/4/or 6 moths. Chose 3 months.
Not a home run but it's being controlled with the least invasive treatment.

Great news Dennie. Keep living your life out loud. Things can be pretty good, even with this disease.

Umm,
"<0.06"
That is as low as the testing equipment your lab uses can go.
Whenever you see the less than sign, you are at the lowest that the lab's equipment can go.

The less than sign is dependent on equipment used, some are more sensitive than others.
If doc really wants to know, have him shop for a lab that goes lower.
