Sorry to hear that! It's real, all right. There are so far very few cases down here in this low population southern state, but just yesterday a close friend of a close friend, probably in his 60s, died of it. He was a locally well known musician, died in the hospital I used to work in.
On the good news front, on the other thread I had reported on the grand niece of a HS friend, a 33 year old cardiac nurse, who was on the ventilator, it was looking grim. But after about
a week on the machine, she was finally off of it and things were looking much better for her. But at the moment they got that news, her mother and grandfather were admitted with severe respiratory issues. But the news I have now is that they are ALL improving and non critical. So, good to have some good news to report for a change.
