Well tomorrow I will have a pet scan at Carbone Cancer at UW hospital. Time to locate the beast.

I had mine one month ago.... No big thing... nothing around my prostate area, but found a nodule on my lung that they want to take a closer look at... Good Luck and prayers to you....

Just finished the scan. She told me that the scan picked up the muscles in my thighs and asked me if I had exercised. Yes, yesterday I road my stationary bike. They shot the axium juice in my arm, put on the music, stating with Luther but somehow Randy Travis was mixed in. It did not matter. I went to sleep. Now waiting for results.

Yes, please keep us posted. My MO says my insurance is likely to offer one chance for an Axumin scan so he wants to wait until my PSA is closer to 1.0 before pulling the trigger.

Well, I got the news today from the Axium scan. As suspected, it’s in the lymph nodes, on the left side and in another spot. My oncologist thinks that he can radiate them. Nothing in the bones. So they want me on Lubron for 4 to 6 months before radiation. Back to the microwave.

Sounds like great management plan. Zapping hot areas seems to be getting a lot traction. It seems likely this type of management therapy will be on my path some day.
