Howard,
Yes, hoping for clean results from your scan.
With me it's a bit complicated. When I had my SRT in 2010 I had an enlarged lymph node that showed up on a regular x-ray. That node was targeted with a portion of each day's SRT and after SRT my PSA was undetectable for nearly 4 years. So I'm pretty sure that particular node was fried. Two years ago when my PSA was rising again a CT scan picked up a different lymph node that was enlarged and was also causing a partial kidney blockage because it was pinching the ureter. That node wasn't radiated, but the Firmagon shrank it back to normal.
I've now been off ADT for a year and PSA is rising. My doc's plan is to do an Axumin scan in late June. If it shows anything that can be safely targeted we'll do spot radiation. If not I'll go back on ADT at some point - to be decided based on PSA and doubling time.
Let us know your bone scan results. With luck nothing in the bones and zapping the nodes will get you to undetectable.
