Gents,
We are all in this together. And there is strength in numbers. We laugh, frown, cry and celebrate together. Such is a team I am honored to be a member of.
The credentials to get on our roster stink. PCa is our universal enemy. Thank Heaven we are all moving forward and dealing with it based on individual diagnoses and circumstances. Such is bravery.
You don't have to be a psychic to feel the anxiety of some of our brethren. I know what was going through me the first time I logged on. No matter my other attributes, I was darn-scared. Such is candor.
By the Grace of Almighty God, most of our arduous journeys end in Pleasantville, USA. Such is the bonanza.
Oftentimes, when I cannot sleep, I think of several of our brothers whose stories make a mark on my memory. Such is empathy.
Yesterday I had my six-month post IGRT with Dr. Sim and Monmouth Medical Center in West Long Branch, NJ. The news was the best I could have hope for. He is happy with my first post-treatment PSA (2.4 - - it was 8.7 with a Jackie Gleason of 3+4=7 when first we met in May 2020) and predicts the next one will be even lower. Back-to-him in six months.
Life gives us heaven. Life gives us hell. Life has given us each other.
