I tapered off of FloMax last October, six months after conclusion of CK. A few weeks ago my urine stream started constricting. I have a 6 month PSA checkup next week, 4/29, but contacted my uro and was put back on FloMax. I am now having discomfort sitting without a donut pillow. Is it unusual, or common, to experience prostatitis a year out from SBRT, cause this is what I am hoping it is.

I also suggest you inform your radiation oncologist. My RO followed me for several years to monitor and manage any radiation induced side effects. Thankfully, I had none. It isn’t unusual for some inflammation to follow radiation that can affect urinary and bowel functions.

Good Idea. My uro seemed to lose interest after I declined his "surgery treatment" last year.

That sounds like a good reason to seek out another uro. Being interested in the patient isn't a bonus or some perk, like an expresso coffee machine in the waiting room.
