Words of encouragement

First of all I must say that I realize how very lucky I am. The answers to questions and words of encouragement I have gotten from this site, from the first signs of increased PSA through surgery and recovery have been invaluable.

I have not posted in a while but details of my diagnosis are in my profile. Three years after surgery I can report that have an undetectable PSA, 99% continence. Erectile function has slowly improved after using a pump for rehab, viagra and cialis. I had resigned myself to a lifetime of ED meds but in the past month I find myself fully functional with no medication.

After 3 years I mostly feel like myself again. I hope others are as lucky as I have been and can remain optimistic as recovery takes time. I am now 67 years old.
