The hits keep coming.

Yesterday morning I tore my retina working bent over outside. My eye doctor fixed it with a quick laser surgery. I have come to realize that with age you lose body parts and shrink in size. I have lost 1 and a half inches in height from two back fusions and curvature of the spine. I know some of you have lost size in other areas of the body from the surgery option. All I can say is, maybe the Benjamin Button movie wasn’t fictional after all. Lol.

Thanks all for the replies on the osteopenia question. I have decided to skip the medication route and stick with extra calcium and weight bearing exercise. I would have replied earlier, but the eye misfortune happened. You guys and girls are the best.

Good luck on the retina issue and follow your Doc's orders to the T. My sister is going through having a detached retina and it isn't going well.
