Thanks for the update, and you all are early in the process. Please keep us posted. And 5-7 miles per day is impressive.

Don’t get too concerned about PSA bounce yet. Mine went from 6 to 9 after my first dose then back to 8. Haven’t had a PSA lately but scans are a better marker at this point. My scans showed “treatment response” in a couple of spots. People on here speculated that the PSA may have been picking up dying cells. My advice is to be patient but this is coming from the guy who cried once he saw the increase from 6 to 9. Go for my 3rd treatment this Friday.

There's comfort in getting treatments started. Waiting for treatments to begin is difficult ...

I'm thankful this newly approved treatment is available. You're on the "cutting edge" of all of this ~ and blazing that trail.

Soon ~ and very soon ~ this treatment is going to be widely implemented.

I felt this way when I was the first fellow at my treatment center to embark upon the "early chemotherapy plan" for prostate cancer patients & when I first started ZYTIGA.

I continue to keep you both in my thoughts.

It helps to have that first treatment "knocked out" ~ as subsequent treatments will follow that protocol & pattern.

I hope your next treatment goes well.

It sounds like you have a great medical team rallied around you ~ implementing these new treatments and scheduling timely follow-up scans.

I continue to send my supportive thoughts to you both.

I follow all of your posts & will watch for your updates.

I want to offer my support to you & your husband.

I was diagnosed in my 40s, with a skyrocketing PSA of over 100.

By the time I was diagnosed, both my lungs were "peppered" with cancerous nodules ~ a sign of metastatic spread.

You might want to create a new introductory thread and share about your husband's case.

You mentioned bone pain ~ did the scans indicate bone involvement?

Has he tried XTANDI or ZYTIGA yet? I had a round of chemotherapy infusions and 45 radiation treatments.

I'm hoping PLUVICTO treatments are helping.

Your husband is welcome to post here, as well.

I am sending you both my supportive thoughts ~ as treatments continue.

I've had six treatments of Pluvicto. See my lengthy thread "LU 177 - My Next treatment" for all the details. My results were astounding--from 65 to 0.68 over 11 months or so. It's now moving back up--to 4.8 now, which now has me researching another round of Pluvicto.
