Hello all,
Just checking in for another year. I appreciate this site because back in 2014 I was diagnosed w/ intermediate PCa as a 48 year old healthy man in my best shape since college. (57 yrs old now)
In fact, my biopsy was a week after my 30th high school reunion and I felt and looked fitter than most alumni there.
Anyway, all is good. My PSA has been 0.1 for several years and I don’t get stressed about the test. The Urologist released me at 5 years so that’s good too.
I started drinking more beer the year after treatment and that continues so I’ve put on about 20 lbs of weight but I’m down some for my NY Resolution. I also felt some depression issues for 2-3 years related to the diagnosis but I’m over that. I think the mental toll is real and I hope all successful manage that too.
Hope all are doing well!
