February 2007 Widespread metastasis to ribs, spine, pelvis and legs
Eligard Injection early February
As you can see things have gone from bad to worse and the scary part is that all seemed fine untill an unrelated ct scan showed a suspicious spot in the pelvis , then followed a new bone scan that revealed widespread metastasis. Obviously the first line of hormone therapy did'nt work.Radiation therapy was cancelled as the spread made it useless. Three weeks made my husband into a new man but now he is having quite a few painful days ( well most of the time he soldiers on but some days are worse) Tiredness is also a big problem,Does anyone out there suffer from continual indigestion as he does , if so any hints how to combat it? Is there anything else I should expect as his caregiver, does this slowly get worse ?
