Jim, Bill, Vickie, Lee, Kat, KW and all my other friends, I'm sorry I haven't been around! I had to take my Mom back up north, she's a snow goose, and get her summer house all up and ready for her. So I haven't been near a computer for a while. Jim, thats great news! Now you are back amoung the living are you going to dust off that old HD and go for a ride?

Dear Jim *Our Biker90,   Being away from this forum for 11 days and coming back to see your 5-9 update and your 5-11 posting ~ truly makes a statement for this forum….     Each day new postings come in and ~ we continue to appreciate how important this forum is to “all of us”.   Biker & MaryLu…. Thank you so much for reaching deep within and sharing your soul “spirit” with all of us.   It all started with Pete opening up and Swim jumping right on the problem… then you opened up with such honesty ~ (now I’m in tears!!!)   hugs, hugs, and more hugs… to you and MaryLu….   It truly pays to be our own advocate to find the right path that “we” need to follow.   Biker ~ we love you and respect you for taking the steps forward to your full recovery.   Many times we’ve said…. Quality over Quantity   Something I read has stayed with me….   Where does depression hurt?   Everywhere Who does depression hurt?   Everyone   This is so true…. Not realizing how true it was until you shared your deepest feelings…. We hurt with you during this time… and knowing that just being here for you ~ helped   you ~ reiterates how important this forum is….   Thank you for continuing to share “Your Journey” with “all of us”. HealingWell   ~   together is so important for all of us. Sharing Our Knowledge ~ With Others ….. I edited page one with a 6 month post-op update.

The big news is that I'm off Prozac and feeling great! Thanks to all of you who have helped me so much.

1. What low T can do to a guy
2. Not to give up when you know yourself & what you need
3. We can always "fumble around in the dark"!

Good for you Jim glad to hear everythings going so well. Now are you planning to ride to Stergis? My buddy just got his new Harley a month or so ago (just before his 50th), and has been trying to get his body back in shape for the ride. It's been 20+ years I think since he last own a Harley, and this time he bought the "Fat Boy" 650 pounds of beautiful bike, but it does require a bit of mussel memory to operate.

If you're going maybe you can look him up; he should'nt be too hard to find at 6'5" riding an 07' black & chrome with a contagious laugh/Chesser-Cat-Grin. He's one of the few guys that makes the Fat Boy look small when he's riding it.

If I could I'd be there too...

How blessed we have been to have you in our lives during a time that was critical to all of us, to newbies and to you and MaryLu.   Thank you!!!   I truly feel the depression issue is more prevalent than most would admit.   And when they read your journey…. It is bound to leave an impact that… Hey ~ it’s okay to talk about it.   And there are “things” that are likely triggering it…   and there is help available.   And it is up to me to search it out!!!   What a learning tool…. Biker chicks, did someone say biker chicks? Oh the good old days, what I remember of them anyway! My first date with my wife of 26 years was a death ride up a mountain going way to fast with her sitting on the back of my way too fast motorcycle. I think she became a biker chick that night! Sorry I'm off topic but you brought me back there for a minute Jim!
