Hi Friends

I posted this on the injection link, but it seems to have been lost on the bottom of the pile, only Tamu seems to have found it.

I am considering penile injections.  On another forum a poster stated that he was going to have a "penile implant" because nothing else worked and he had developed a fibrous tissue problem due to the injections. Does anyone know about this fibrous tissue problem?  Has it happened to you or have you read about it?  Tamu mentioned that his doctors office had mentioned it.  Any information will be appreciated.

Fibrous tissue consists of or resembles fibers................it is full of sinew and is tough.
When someone receives a lot of injections in the same area, the tissue may become tough and you are unable to use that site for injections.
This happens to many people that have to have injections frequently.
I am sorry your early post did not get a lot of feedback. I am very gald that you reposted as we really do want to help you.

     Apparently fibrous tissue build up is not a common problem, as no one here seems to have any direct experience with it.  I was just trying to look at all of the possible problems I might encounter.

I did an internet search and found that there can be a problem with fibrous tissue build up in the corpera cavernosa (spongy tissue) inside the penis that retains the blood that controls erections. 

This appears when the same injection site is overused. It can cause even more problems with erection. Oh well, one thing at a time.

It can cause curvature of the penis, which can cause problems with intercourse among others.

I have been injecting for about 8 months. I have no signs of the problem. My doc told me the most important things to remember, about injections, to avoid the problem are as follows;

1. Vary the injection site from side to side and along the length of the penile shaft. (I have identified about 20 prime spots that I use in an alternating cycle. These spots have no big, surface blood vessels and only tiny ones deeper.) ((I am not a particularly large man so what I am saying is almost anyone could find many appropriate spots))

2. ALWAYS keep pressure on the injection site for at LEAST 5 minutes after injecting. There can be bleeding you don't see which can cause fibrous tissue growth over time.

The injections have completely changed my outlook. I wish I had started them sooner. I was a terrified of needles. Passed out routinely when getting blood tests and immunizations. If I can do this anyone can.
