Hello M. Kat, GreenAcres, jetguy, and bluebird,

I haven't been visiting the sight very often, and I must apologize. Things have been going well for the family (now that 2006 is over), and I have been working on several new projects. August will be my 18 month check-up; time is really flying. I have not read all the prior posts so I hope that all is going well for all of you.

We just returned from Daufuski Island SC where we attended a wedding, and yes I had BBQ pork! The weather was perfect, and not a single bug bite (luck has returned). On the way home we had to stop at Cracker Barrel for breakfast; eggs, grits, sausage, bisquits with gravy, and lots of hot coffee "YUM" it was the best! I guess my cholesterol is off the charts, but it was worth it.

Well I hope you all are having a great summer so far. I will try to visit more frequently. Thanks for the kind thoughts and wishes. God bless all of you.

Really glad you are doing well, Glen.  You were a great help to me during my early struggles.  I, too, am doing well.

You were one of the first guys whose posts I read when I was newly diagnosed last November. Glad you are doing well and hope to hear from you more often.

So good to hear from you, Glen! Sounds like you've continued to treat yourself well - i.e., great food. Time does fly - sometimes it's good to let some of it just go on by, right? You and Jane continue to enjoy, but please check in when you feel like it. There are so many of us here who did/can benefit from your experiences and advice.

Glen . . . we too took great comfort in many of your posts back when we first appeared on this forum. Now, at 8 months post surgery and THREE undetectible PSA's we hope our journey has inspired others as well. Take care and do visit from time to time.
