Update on my Peyronie's

Went to see the ED specialist at UCLA Urology (Dr. Jacob Rajfer) today. Six weeks ago I went to see him because I was having some bending in my penis as a result of injections, and/or as a side effect to my robotic prostatectomy. He told me to lay off any treatments (VED, injections) and to take 3 medicines: pentoxifylline, Cialis and L-arginine. I have been taking that plus a Chinese herbal blend called "Prostate Safe" from MaxNature. A week ago he said I can have intercourse if I use the pump

Well, slightly good news. The plaque seems to have lessened, and the bend is not nearly as pronounced as it was (it was to a degree that intercourse was a little difficult and a little painful. And I lost a couple of inches in length.) No change in the loss of length, but as long as it gets erect somehow and I can get it in the door, I'll be happy. So, he told me to keep doing whatever I've been doing (I hate it when they are imprecise like that) for another 3 months, and he'll see if the plaque lessens more on its own, or he can inject me with something to try to dissolve it.

Also, I do seem to be getting some level of nerve activity back (now at the 1 year point), slowly. Getting semi-erect, nothing suitable for intercourse except maybe a few seconds right around orgasm. I guess I have another year to hope for improvement.

So that's what's going on in my world. It's been a long year, and looks as if like next year will be long as well...
