Update

I hope you are all doing well. Sorry I haven't been around much lately, my wife has been having trouble with kidney stones and possible ulcer or gallstones. She is having her left side of kidney stones blasted on Monday and will have to return later to have the right side done. She has 3 stones on the left and one on the right. (Ouch)

I had my appointment with the cancer center oncologist and all CT scan and chest X-ray came out clean. I am 99% under control of urinary control. Things are looking GREAT on the cancer so at this point the urologist and the oncologist agree that I should just watch my PSA every 3 months for now and take action if the PSA starts to rise. I am hoping that the surgery damaged the cells on the positive margins so bad that they will take a long time to activate???

Thank you all for your support, I think these groups are so wonderful for people to share and see what other people try to get thru this terrible disease.

Thank you all for the responses and well wishes. I will look into the citrus pectin. You all have a way of making one feel so much better and I can't say enough about this group. I know I have gone thru my life busy working doing what needed to be done and never really paying that much attention to people. I spent alot of my time in the investment management business and was always looking at numbers and managing other people's financial affairs. I never really thought about how illnesses could affect someones life. Getting cancer and needing answers really brings out feelings you never think about. I hope if I have learned anything from this I have learned to be more compatient and helpful to other people. Again, Thank you all. I wish we could have a magic wand we could wave and wipe sickness off the face of the earth.
