bye bye Mr Hang

Hi everyone, well today I got rid of the catheter & bag, had 3 tests and passed (peed) ok with very little retention, no problem with leaking in pad, in fact I have not leaked anything in the last 5 hours, I think this is due to the excellence of my surgeon, who I have been told "is the best".

He saw me at 12.30pm today, and told me not to worry about my post op pathology, as he was sure he got it all, then with a hearty handshake, said he will see me in 4 weeks for PSA.

So I am a happy man, and so I should be.

It's a great day to rid of the bag. That's excellent you are not leaking much. I am on day 11 since losing Mr. Hang and I am still leaking using about 5-6 pads a day.

Nice going, Mal!  Keep up the good work!  It sounds like you have a great doc that did the surgery well and gave you a nice verbal boost afterward.  That is terrific!  I hope your continence keeps up as well.
