Hi All,

I have posted once in the past, and keep up with you by reading your posts.  My father was diagnosed in the first of June and goes in tomorrow for da Vinci surgery.  He's going to University of Michigan with Dr. Wood.  It's about 3 hours from our home.

I'm sure many of you can appreciate the feelings our family is experiencing these last hours.

Thanks for all of you and the information you have provided.

Hi Julie,

I'm so glad treatment time is near.  There will be an element of relief once you take this important step in fighting the disease.

I wish you and your father the very best!  Our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Please let us know how things are going following the surgery and look to this wonderful group for advice and support along your journey.

Tell dad he's in pretty swell hands. David (Dr.Wood) did Paul's surgery. One thing I can say for the man, his continence rates are excellent.

Dr. Wood is a fantastic surgeon. He did a great job for me. Keep us posted.

Hi Julie! My thoughts and prayers are with you! My father goes in for surgery a week from today! I can relate to the emotions you are going through! Please keep us posted on how he does and best wishes for a speedy recovery for him!
