Would PSA become detectable before bone pain /metastasis occurs?

This question arises out of paranoia, I have a finger that feels like it is broken for no apparent reason, which reminded me of John Edwards' wife and her cracked rib leading to her finding out her cancer was back. My last PSA (May/June) was undetectable. Probably something else and of course I'll ask the doctor when I can get ahold of him, but just curious...?

We are all so jumpy now.... 

Still, with your post-surgery biopsy and "zeros," when I consider the pain in your finger -
I don't leap to a conclusion of cancer!

I don't feel that "faithful quantum leaps of optimism" are required here,
but I am reserving a big smile for your next zero!

Aww, Strictly...

You probably did something to your finger and didn't notice at the time of injury. From your stats, it would take a whole lot of sneak and from your PSA, that hasn't happened. FYI.... almost all sneakers are of a high grade and were diagnosed more agressively the first time around. Even then, it's a very rare thing to have it happen.

Time to go see a good comedy! Always makes my day.

Finger might be nothing more than a slight touch of arthritis. I have this occassionally in my middle finger. Comes and goes with no sign visible. God Bless, Uncle Dan

Yes, arthritis is a thought I had as well.
