The only gluten free cereals that grocery stores in my area sell is the Chex cereal. So I have to go to the health food store to find some. There are some geared towards kids, but they are actually really good. I think one is called Panda Puffs, and another is Gorilla "something" (can't remember exactly). Anyway they are slightly sweetened and taste really good. Of course with everything else that is labeled "gluten free" they are not cheap, but if you are the only one eating it, it should last a little while. If there is an Aldi's store near you, sometimes they get gluten free things in, so you could check there too.
If you like bagels for breakfast, I found Udi's cinnamon/raisin bagels. They are really good. Put some cream cheese and sprinkle some cinnamon/sugar on them and you'd never know they were gluten free. They are not dry and funky tasting like some other brands I've tried.
Sorry it took so long to get you an answer, things have been really hectic. My dad had surgery Monday, my daughter is getting married in a couple weeks, and I've been sick with my stomach. Hopefully others will get you some good advice.
Hope this helps you.
