I went gluten free ab couple of months ago, have tried going gluten free a bit halfheartedly a few times the last years.
I am obviously a slow learner, by cheating a few times the last months, I had to pay my cheat by getting pain and a lot of gas with the most unbearable smell just a few hours after having some creamcakes containing gluten.
I have found that going gluten free is helping me me a LOT, my diarrhea transformed from running 3- 4 times a day to taking it easy and going once a day with normal bowel movements. Had slight pain now and then, it's also gone.
I have lost a lot of hair the last years, now I hope by this diet change that my hair will grow thicker again. I have also found that my fatique is slowly improving, I am having more energy now. And I 'm sure the energy level will be on top very soon.
Good luck!
Oh, and I haven't been tested for Celiac. I guess it's just intolerance besides having Crohns Disease.
