celiac

My grandma has celiac and she has diarrhea all the time to where she is confined to her house and cant do much and also has lost tons of weight.. any suggestion on meds or what she can do to help??

yes she was diagnosed with celiac and she has followed the gluten free diet... still no help...

Why would her Gastro not give her something for Diarrhea? Imodium id the fastest, best that I know about, also you make see if cutting out wheat and dairy helps. It can take 3-6 Months for the colon to heal completely, also you should try Protein Shakes, Ensure and chewable Multivitamins so she doesn't suffer from a lack of nutrients. Hope this helps :)
