Is itchy skin a significant symptom?

Hi all,

I've been suffering from itchy skin that is driving me nuts. I have some other symptoms of Celiac, but of course it is not an easy or quick job to identify this disease. I am most concerned about getting rid of the itching, and I was wondering... do you find that itching is a significant symptom of Celiac disease?

I've already been checked for liver enzyme levels (and I'm fine), but I will check out dermatitis herpetiformis! Thanks!
