Dosage of levothyroxine increased - How long does it take to adjust?

For about a month, I've been on the new dosage.  I was changed from 88 mcg. to 100 mcg.  about a month ago, my TSH was 5.07.  I told my ENDO about this trembling, shakiness, and she said I'll feel better when TSH improves.

How long does it take to adjust to new dosage?  I feel like I have parkinsons.  I even went to a neurologist concerning trembling, dizziness, and weak/pain in legs & feet.  She said nothing was wrong but she said I had restless leg syndrom and gave me Mirapex before I go to bed.  It is helping me to sleep.

How long does it take for new dosage to adjust to your system?  This shakiness lasts all day.  I wake up with it.  Some days, it's worse than others.  Can it be a vitamin deficiency?

Thanks for all your help on here.  I really appreciate it.  You've been more help than the doctors, at times.

I had the same issue when I was switched from 88 to 100. the doc told me that sometimes the chemical makeup of the different dosage can cause the symptoms you describe, so actually increased me to 112 and everything got better. It takes 2 weeks for the body to adjust to a change in dosage. so if you are still having issues after a month, I would see if you can have the blood work rechecked and/or dosage changed back or go higher. The dosage should also be based on how you feel as well as the blood work.

Thanks so much for your quick reply. I'm seeing my Endo in a week and a half and will get bloodwork before I see her, so hopefully, my TSH will be better and I can talk to her about this shakiness.
