question about test results.

Hi. This is my first time posting in the thyroid forum. I just received some test results and wanted to ask if these sound normal to you.

TSH standard range 0.27-5.50. My result being 4.72. Free T4 standard range 0.93-1.70. my value is 1.08

I had these tests after having had a lot of racing heart issues and flutters, panic attacks, and being underweight, shaky, cold all the time, etc. I am a 35 yr old female 4'11 and weigh 89 pounds. I cant gain weight for anything. never have been able to. I have three children and was able to get up to 120 pounds but that was at 41 weeks pregnant.

Would you accept these values as being alright? I just wondered since it was at the high end. Im just looking for answers about my health. So far they have diagnosed me with anxiety and fibromyalgia.

I suffered from being cold all the time too. My issue was my iron levels. They should never be below 11.5 (lowest safe level) and mine was 6.8. I stay at 10 now but because of malabsorbtion issues it may never go any higher. It may come to the point of having to have iron transfusions but hopefully that will be far into the future. Have you had your levels checked?
