Hypo and autoimmune disorders??

I've been hypo a very long time. I started having muscles problems about 7 years ago. I've had 4 shoulder surgeries and neck surgery since then but I continue to have deep muscle tissue aches and cracking and grinding of bones. I am also on celexa for depression. I have osteopenia and low calcuim levels. A couple of years ago I noticed that I was bruising very easy. If my husband squeezes my thigh his finger prints will be there in a day or two. I also have swelling in my legs and ankles and was sent to cardio to rule out heart trouble. I've also battled with stomach troubles my whole life. The last couple of weeks have been really bad though. Lots of pain in upper stomach mostly in the center under breastbone. I've been burping with vomit taste and getting sick. Currently I am in the process of getting into a pain management doctor (off base) for neck and back pain that was aggravated due to a rear in car accident. My husband is in the military so I have been shuffled from dr to dr. I keep getting assigned to pcm's that are on sea duty. My husband just retired though and now we will have to be seen at the air force base instead of the Naval and I am being assigned to a nurse practitioner there. No complaints on that other than I don't feel like I have a dr that knows me and case history well. Anyways I guess I do need to go back for some of this. Does any of this sound like any autoimmune disorders that I possibly should be checking into?

Congratulations on finally having a (hopefully) consistent healthcare provider. You may find that your NP is much more likely to take into account all of your issues when diagnosing you. At least, I hope that will be true.
