partial thyroid removal

hi,

I had what I thaught was my total thyroid removed d/t three types of cancer, follicular,papullary and meduary. (sorry about the spelling). The first 2 I'm not conscerned about, however, I got an old bill today stating :partilal thyroid removal. I never went back for the second scan after the RAI.  I am freaking out. I was told I had a total thyroid removal... Help!

I was busy with my job(yes I know NO EXCUSE< SHAME ON ME) and thaught why bother they got the whole thyroid...Denial is more than a river in Egypt...I was dealing with an MS excerbation that put me in the hospital/nursing home, a new dx of Crohn's disease(pain, lost 30 lbs in 2 months) To think i might have cancer again would be just too much. Again I know shame on me, no excuse. Yes I had better call:) Thanks
