Questions about Hypothyroidism.

I have been treated for hypothyroidism for several years now. I've had the ultrasound done and it was normal. I suffer from some of the typical symptoms that come along with this disorder but I also am having weird stomach problems. Does anyone else suffer from stomach issues as well?

I would second that.. I was diagnosed a year and a half ago and around the same time started to have a significant increase in my stomach issues (I've always had some sort of stomach problem).

Most recently, I've had a bad bout of IBS and also some gallbladder attacks.
I also developed dizziness, vertigo, syncope related issues around the same time.
Of course correlation does not prove causation, but since they all happened at the same time, it's hard for me to not think there may be something connecting it all.

My doctors and specialist are treating them all as separate issues for now, but I have a gut feeling there is a bigger connection.

I'm in the middle of trying to solve gastro symptoms now. Hypo can cause diarrhea and hyper can cause constipation, but it could also be gall bladder or something else. Mine was removed in 1997, and that's when the reocurring digestion problems started. I, too, gave up gluten and got rid of SOME symptoms, but it's an ongoing experiement.
