Your test results are normal with the exception of the TSH, which is a bit low. This is to be expected with you FT4, which is in the upper normal range. Unless you have abnormal thyroid antibodies or have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroiditis, it's unlikely your doctor will prescribe any medication.

Your latest thyroid test results are indicative of being hypOthyroid.

As you can see, your TSH is extremely high at 8.16, TSH is counter intuitive and if it is high then you need to be put on thyroid hormone replacement to bring it down to normal optimal levels.

Do you take any thyroid medications such as Levothyroxine or anti thyroid medications like methimazole ?

If you are on levo for at least six weeks then your dose need to be increased, if you take anti thyroid medications like the one mentioned above, then your dose need to be lowered, this is why you need to see an Endo.

If you are not on any thyroid medications, then those results are contradicting the results from 18/02 , which is another good reason to see an Endo.

Do you know whether you have hashimoto's disease? to test for it ask your doctor to check for TGab and antiTPOab, if either is positive then you have hashi which can cause both hypo and hyper.

To check for Graves disease which causes hyper, ask for the TSIab test .

I suspect your endo will have you re-start your thyroid replacement medication when you see her. Your latest results indicate you are hypothyroid. This is normal after RAI, because that treatment destroys all or part of the thyroid gland. As your body is producing less and less T3, the TSH goes up. The pituitary gland is desperately sending "make more hormone" messages to the thyroid, but it can't respond. So you gradually become more hypothyroid. It can take some time for things to level out. I remember having medication adjustments every three months for the first couple of years after my RAI. Then I went more than ten years before I needed a slight adjustment again.

If you had not yet then you need to perform thyroid and neck ultrasound.

This in order to see whether you have nodules on your thyroid gland, Levo can shrink them, but not in all cases, the statistic is that once on levo, third of the cases nodules will shrinks and disappear and third will remain in the same size and in the last third nodules will grow.

I don't know whether RAI can take care of them, so you need to ask your Endo.

We can't answer for your doctor, however, some Endos do not treat hypo unless TSH is above 10.

Your TSH is extremely high, but the end of the month is only in two weeks so try to be patient.
