Inability to taste and whole body numbness

From September through mid-November, I could not taste any food and I have a slight numbness throughout my entire body. In mid-November, the taste came back and the numbness went away. Could this be a sign of thyroid disorder? I honestly have no idea what it could be.

I have a doctors appointment, but it will be a long time before I can get in.

I don't take any medications, and I eat healthy and take care of myself.

Very odd symptom...

IceSkate, we're not doctors here, but people living with these conditions. We really can't diagnose or guess as to what's wrong with you, and I'm glad you have an appointment with your doctor.

Based on what you've told us, these really don't sound like symptoms that would be caused by thyroid malfunction. I hope you find out what it was so you can take whatever care is needed, though.
