Hi all!
I can't believe I'm on her to report another diagnosis ( I'm on other forums).
Today, on my 6-month check-up with my Endo, my blood work came back that my TSH is 4.18 and my my T4 is .94. I was borderline hypothyroid a year ago, but today he said we weren't going to wait around anymore.
He started me on 100 mg of generic Synthroid once per day, to increase dosage next week. I also have Type 1 diabetes and he thinks I have neuropathy in both of my feet now, which is really scary. I have a new med for that too.
Been resting all afternoon, doing research, organizing paperwork, and learning about
side effects. I have to keep a food log for 8 days (for my diabetes), but I have several other medical conditions we didn't even get to on this visit.
CRAZY!
I'm glad I was finally dx'd though. I had gained 10 lbs. in the last for one reason or another (feet issues didn't help).
Good luck to everyone. I'll be looking to you all for a lot of guidance and questions.
Kind regards, Becca

Congratulations on a diagnosis. I'm sure most of us can understand the relief that can be experienced just by knowing what's wrong
... I hope you find a treatment plan that works for you
